Approach
to Design
The major issue in building design today is to design
buildings that are low in maintenance and running costs,
which are safe for habitation and which are adaptable
to changing trends in architecture.
India being a developing nation faces acute shortage of
water and electricity. Bearing these facts in mind the
approach to designing buildings has been to judiciously
use various building components such as external cladding,
sewerage treatment plants, sensory devices etc. to bring
down the running costs of the building. In addition to
these, the designs also reflect the intelligent placement
of habitable and non-habitable zones in relation to the
environment, which further brings down the energy costs.
Our buildings are designed with a modular concept so as
to adapt to changing trends in architecture over the years
within minimum costs. Further to this the approach has
been to make the buildings self-sufficient by optimum
use of various energy producing devices.
